The annual Springfield Jazz & Roots Festival would not be possible without a large team of event-day volunteers to help with activities, attendee registration, artist hospitality, setup, takedown, and cleaning. You get to have fun, help give something wonderful to our community, connect with others, and get a free t-shirt!

This is a chance to work closely with our Executive Director, have a key role that makes a big difference in our little organization, and learn a lot about nonprofit management and event directing along the way. To ensure our team represents the people our organization centers, we are particularly interested in volunteers who are Springfield residents and/or BIPOC. Board Members
Blues to Green has a working board and is looking for new members who are team players dedicated to our mission and ready to roll up your sleeves and offer your skills to help the organization thrive. To ensure our team represents the people our organization centers, we are particularly interested in board members who are Springfield residents and/or BIPOC. We ask that prospective board members begin as volunteers, so we can get to know each other and make sure it’s a fit before inviting you to co-lead our organization.
